Program Note: The Northern Wind is not necessarily meant to convey notions of frigid landscapes of the north, although hints of those landscapes may be present throughout. It is a portrayal of the story-telling qualities of nature; of tales that are carried by the air and the sea. If one listens closely, perhaps one can hear whispers of civilizations long gone or of new worlds yet to come.
